The second book in the series called The Tapestry and is similar to Harry Potter. He has magical powers and goes to an academy-- Rowan. Inside himself he has the power of Cuchulain, an old Irish warrior. He goes on an adventure to find his mother who disappeared for two years. When he goes on the adventure he grows a lot and understands more things.

I liked Max McDonald, the name of the boy because he is kind of like Harry Potter and very brave and daring and doesn't listen well to orders. The book has a lot of magical stuff and opens new doors into magical history.
