Starting the Househunt Search in South of France

This past spring we met our daughter, Zoe-Pascale, who is now attending University of St. Andrews in Scotland at our apartment in Montpellier, France. We are now on a new journey to find a home, once again, in the country. This trip however, we decided to venture out towards Pezenas and Carcassone to see what we thought. The weather drizzly and overcast reminded us that house hunting on the rainy day is probably best as then you know what weather you are going to get. We found a home with an amazing entry way, olive trees a pool and a poolhouse, albiet the house wasn’t exactly what we wanted. Talking over a coffee, we realized we weren’t quite ready to make the leap as we had to finish some major projects in California. What we did realize however, is that part of the journey is taking the steps to look, put yourself out there, and dream. Sometimes, I wish I could call up HGTV and ask them to find the perfect 3 homes and it will all be over. — hey but where’s the fun in that.
